Pioneer Futures ("Pioneer") was incorporated in April of 1987 under the
laws of the State of New York. Under the guidance of our owner, Vincent J. Viola,
Pioneer has emerged as an industry leader in trade clearing and market making services
on the New York Mercantile Exchange ("NYMEX").
Vincent Viola was the chairman of NYMEX Holdings, Inc, and from March 2001 to March
2004 served as chairman of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. He served as vice
chairman of the Exchange from 1993 to 1996, and served on the Exchange board of
directors in the at-large category from 1987 to 1990.
Mr. Viola is the founder and sole owner of Pioneer Futures, which is a clearing
member of both divisions of the New York Mercantile Exchange and the New York Board
of Trade.
He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and achieved
the rank of major in the United States Army Reserves. In 1983, he graduated from
New York Law School with a juris doctor degree.
Mr. Citrone is currently a Board member on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Daniel
Vassallo is the Sr. Vice president of Operations at Pioneer Futures. His responsibilities
run the gamut from risk management to margin issues. He works closely with all the
departments to assure that the communications between the various people is functional.
